This workshop will discuss the current state of Asian American and Pacific Islander participation in mainstream nonprofit and philanthropic boards and governmental commissions. Panelists will share their experience in serving on boards and commissions and how this can impact Asian American and Pacific Islander community; a pilot program for preparing Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders for board service will be presented.
